Confederate Monument Titus County Courthouse Square Mount Pleasant, Texas
The Confederate Veterans, Dudley W. Jones Camp No. 121, with assistance of the Daughters of the Confederacy, erected the Confederate monument on the Court House Square in Mount Pleasant, Texas on November 2, 1912. At the time it was erected it cost over $2,500.00 and it took the old veterans a little over a year to raise the money for the Confederate statue.
