January 15th, 2018 - The 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp #2270 Held a Chain of Command Ceremony at its Regular Stated Meeting at the Old Union Community Center in Mount Pleasant, Texas.

January 26th, 2018 - Compatriots Joe Reynolds and Jerry Lester along with their wives attended the Lee Jackson Birthday Celebration in Tyler, Texas where Larry Joe Reynolds was sworn in as the 1st Lt. February 19th, 2018 - The 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp 2270 held its Monthly Stated Meeting. This was the first meeting to be held with the new Commander, Alvin Rex McGee.

March 6th, 2018 - Compatriot Joe Reynolds and wife Keesie attended the Upshur County Patriots Camp 2109 meeting in Gilmer, Texas.

March 17th, 2018 - Camp Commander Rex McGee and Compatriot Joe Reynolds attended the Texas Division Executive Committee meeting in Waco, Texas.

March 19th, 2018 - The 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp 2270 held its monthly meeting with Mark Vogl as the Guest Speaker, who spoke about the Confederate Navy and the Blockades.

April 7th, 2018 - 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp #2270 held a Graveside Memorial Service at the Edwards Cemetery in Mount Pleasant, Titus County, Texas, for Pvt John Tennison and Pvt. Henry C. Thurston.

April 9th, 2018 - Camp Commander Rex McGee along with Compatriots, O. M. Adams, Talks With White Buffalo, Harry King, and Joe Reynolds attended the Titus County Commissioners' Court in order to get possible approval for the Titus County Historical Commission to submit Application to the Texas Historical Commission for State Antiquities Landmark Designation for our Confederate Monument.

April 12th, 2018 - Adjutant Rodney Love visited, cleaned, and placed flags on the Confederate Graves at Center Grove Cemetery.

April 14th, 2018 - Compatriot Joe Reynolds attended a Memorial Service for over 100 Unknown Confederate Veterans buried in the Marshall City Cemetery, Marshall, Harrison County, Texas.

April 16th, 2018 - 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp #2270 held it's Monthly Meeting at the Old Union Community Center. Terry Smith, from Longview gave our program, Tales from the Soil, and it was enjoyed by all. 2nd Lt. Commander and Compatriot Bill Guy received their Full Guardian Medals and we swore in two new members, Hal and Tim Fletcher.

April 19th, 2018 - Compatriot Joe Reynolds visited the General John Gregg Camp's monthly meeting which was held at the Longview Museum.

May 1st, 2018 - 2nd Lt. Commander Dave Davey and Compatriot Joe Reynolds attended the Upshur County Patriot's meeting in Gilmer, Texas, where Joe performed a Memorial Service and Last Roll Call for Compatriot Rickie Gipson. This was the first memorial service for the newly formed "Northeast Texas 5th Brigade Memorial Service Unit.

May 4th - 6th, 2018 - Compatriot Joe Reynolds and his wife, Keithrie, attended the Texas Society, Military Order of the Stars and Bars, State Reunion in Abilene, Texas.

May 17th, 2018 - Compatriot Rodney Love attended the General John Gregg Camp #958 in Longview, Texas.

May 21st, 2018 - The 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp #2270 held it Monthly Stated Meeting. Compatriot Bill Starnes from the Upshur County Patriots brought our program, "The 10th Texas Cavalry". National Guardian Chairman, Compatriot Phil Davis presented 15 Guardian Medals to Chaplain Michael Mars, Compatriot Michael Simpson received his appointment Certificate as Historian, and we swore in a new member, Gary Houston Oliver.

June 2nd, 2018 - 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp #2270 Executive Committee met at the Camp Headquarters to discuss possible changes to the Camp By-Laws and other business.

August 20th, 2018 - The 1st Lt. David Richard Reynolds Camp #2270 held it Monthly Stated Meeting. The highlight of the evening was Brigade Commander Sam Mercer presenting the National Distinguished Camp Award.

September 4th, 2018 - Northeast Texas 5th Brigade 1st Lt. Commander Joe Reynolds attended the Upshur County Patriots Camp #2109, in Gilmer, Texas. In the tradition of our ancestors the meeting was held outdoors (Actually the electricity was out in the building).

November 10th, 2018 - Chaplain Michael Mars and Compatriot Austin Young installed 1st National CSA flags on graves of Confederate veterans in the Talco Cemetery, Talco, Texas. Chaplain Mars also led prayer during the opening ceremony for Talco Cemetery Association Decoration Day.
